The objective of the study is to develop anthropometric sizing systems for body armors using a systematic approach. Eight hundreds male samples whose age ranges from 20 to 28 were used in this study. Twenty-six body dimensions were selected. Among the dimensions, stature and chest circumference were determined as the key dimensions. Several statistical analyses were used in order to support establishment and evaluation of respective sizing systems alternatives. The 8-sizing systems was eventually chosen to be the best alternative. Ranges and centroids of the categories in the 8-sizing systems were provided. The 8-sizing systems includes approximately 94% of total samples. Estimated within-a-size means, estimated within-a-size standard deviations, and estimated recommended value were calculated for body armor designers.
