The goal of this research is to describe the styles that appear in internet text and to analyse evasion of final endings in internet language. In internet language, final endings are replaced by some special final ending-components like ‘-um’, ‘-gui’, ‘-handa’, ‘banmal-che’ etc. This phenomena should be considered in the view that the speakers of internet tend to use these styles with cerain intensions. They would neutralize the politeness and the speech levels of the utterance to make up for the weak points in social positions. And also these special styles function as the particular marker of their on-line community.
Abstract
