Abstract

이 논문은 한국어 학습자의 말하기 수행 담화를 대상으로 하여 스토리텔링 과업과 견해말하기 과업에서 오류가 어떻게 달리 발생되었는가를 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 분석한 자료는 말하기 시험을 수행한 고급 수준 학습자 50명이 산출한 구어 13,460어절이며 9,360초 분량이다. 연구 결과 첫째, 학습자들은 스토리텔링 과업 보다는 견해말하기 과업에서 648어절을 더 많이 발화하였다. 둘째, 스토리텔링은 대치>활용>조사 순서로 오류가 많이 나타났고, 견해말하기 과업은 조사>대치>활용 순서로 오류가 많이 발생하여 뚜렷한 차이를 보였다. 특히 화자가 나타내려는 의미를 분명하게 해주는 보조사 생략 오류가 고빈도로 일어난 것은 향후 한국어 말하기교육이 유념해야 할 사항이다. 셋째, 문법적 정확성을 지키지 못한 오류는 두 과제 모두 비슷하게 발생하였으나 어휘적 오류는 스토리텔링을 할 때 더 많이 나타났다. 넷째, 학습자들은 주어진 핵심어를 사용하여 창의적이고 일관되게 스토리텔링하는 능력을 보여주었다. 이에 반하여 견해말하기에서는 입장이 오락가락 하거나 조리 있게 자신의 생각을 설득하지 못하였다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 통하여 향후 한국어 말하기 교육에 일관성과 담화 결속성을 높이기 위한 훈련이 포함되어야 함을 알 수 있었다.
