This article discusses the problems it has with respect to existing definitions and classification schemes on ‘josa’. It is argued that the definition and classification system of ‘josa’ is based on the distributional facts of ‘josa’. It is concluded‘Josa’, attached to the preceding words, indicate the relationship between the meaning of the words referents) and others in the context of discourse, and should be divided into functional ‘josa’, paradigmatic ‘josa’, and modal ‘josa’.
