본고는 《춘추》와 《좌전》의 전쟁 관련 기록을 바탕으로 춘추전쟁의 여러 가지 양상을 밝힌 것이다. 즉 춘추전쟁은 어떻게 촉발되고 확산되었는가, 《춘추》에 쓰인 전쟁 관련 술어를 통해 춘추전쟁의 모습은 어떠했는가, 춘추전쟁의 원인과 목적은 무엇이었는가, 춘추전쟁 과정에서 보이는 춘추인들의 禮에 대한 인식은 어떠했는가, 춘추전쟁의 승패를 가르는 요인은 무엇이었는가를 분석하였다.
Abstract
This paper examines the various aspects of the wars during the Spring and Autumn period based on the war-related records in the Spring and Autumn Annals and Zuo Zhuan. That is, It analyzes how wars were triggered and spread, what the terminology used in Spring and Autumn Annals reveals about the features of these wars, what the causes and purposes of the Spring and Autumn wars were, the perception of ritual propriety(li, 禮) among the people of the Spring and Autumn period during warfare, and the factors that determined victory or defeat in these wars.
