본 연구는 장애아동 어머니의 양육스트레스, 사회적지지와 양육효능감의 관계성을 확인하고 양육효능감에미치는 요인을 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 2012년 6월부터 7월까지 6주 동안 G시의 언어치료실을 내원하는장애아동의 어머니 113명을 대상으로 양육스트레스,사회적 지지, 양육효능감을 구조화된 도구를 사용하여측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, t-test, 분산분석, 상관관계분석 및 다중회귀분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 양육효능감과 양육스트레스는 유의한 부적 상관관계가 있었으며, 양육효능감과 사회적 지지는 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 장애아동 어머니의 양육효능감에 영향을 미치는 요인은 양육스트레스와 사회적 지지로 확인되었다. 따라서 장애아동 어머니의 양육효능감을 증진시키기 위해서는 영향요인을 고려한 프로그램을 개발하고 적용해야 할 것이다. 연구결과를 토대로 제언을 하면, 본 연구는 일부 지역의 장애아동 어머니를 대상으로 이루어져 연구의 결과를 일반화하는데 한계가있으므로 여러 지역의 다양한 특성을 지닌 장애아동어머니를 대상으로 한 반복연구가 이루어져야 할이다.
Abstract
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships between parenting stress,social support and parenting efficacy in mothers of children with disabilities. Methods: The subjects were 113 mothers of children with disabilities in G city. Data were collectedusing a structured questionnaire and analyzed by SPSS/PC+ 18.0. Results: There was significant relationship between parenting efficacy and social support (r=.21). But parenting efficacy was negatively correlated with parenting stress (r=-.48). The variablesthat affected parenting efficacy of mothers were parenting stress and social support. These twofactors could explain 24.9% of parenting efficacy in mothers of children with disabilities. Conclusion: The study results show that parenting stress and social support influence parentingefficacy in mothers of children with disabilities. In order to increase parenting efficacy, the developmentof nursing intervention is needed and it can lead healthy life for mothers of children with disabilities.
