광양지역의 물류도시 발전 전략의 우선순위에 관한 연구

광양항은 ‘98년 개장 이후 현재 16개 선석(5만 톤급 12선석, 2만 톤급 4선석)을 운영 중에 있다. 특히 광양지역은 광양만권의 핵심 역할을 하는 광양항이 위치하고 있다. 본 논문은 광양지역의 물류도시 발전 전략의 우선순위를 도출하기 위하여 SWOT/AHP 분석 방법을 사용하였다. 분석 결과, 수익 창출형 물류 비즈니스 모델 창출, 항만기능과 연계된 국제적인 배후물류단지 개발, 공동물류창고 운영 등의 비용절감형 물류 비즈니스 모델 창출, 자유무역지역의 고부가가치화 전략 그리고 광역항만클러스터 조성 등에 우선순위를 두고 전략을 수립하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 도출되었다. 본 연구의 한계점으로는 도출된 우선순위에 대한 논리적 타당성 검증이 필요하며 이를 위해서는 일정한 주기로 동일한 설문대상자를 대상으로 설문을 수회 실시하여 그 결과를 비교 분석하는 작업이 필요하다. 또한 향후, 보다 심도 있는 심층면접이나 광범위한 설문조사를 통해 전략이 보완되어져야 할 필요가 있다. 향후, 이러한 한계점을 개선하고 보완할 수 있는 보다 심층적이고 실증적인 연구가 수행되어져야 할 것이다.
Abstract
This primary purpose of this study is to suggest strategies for developing the Gwangyagn region as a logistics city. In orderto achieve such purpose, the following methodology is used. First, the literature survey on papers, related-organization's homepage,reports and journals related to Gwangyang Bay and Gwangyang port. Second, an pilot survey and field survey for suggesting SWOTanalysis are carried out. Finally, questionnaire survey using a AHP analysis technique is distributed and analyzed. The strategies fordeveloping as a logistics city are suggested as followings. First, ST strategy such as the development of the international hinterlandlogistics center related to the port logistics function is considered as the most important factor and followed by ST strategy, WT strategyand WO strategy. Second, creation of the revenue-creating logistics business model is to be considered as the most important factorand followed by development of the international hinterland logistics center related to the port logistics function, operation of the logisticscenter, creating high value-added of free trade area etc. For further research, more concrete and empirical study have to be carried out.
