유아 놀이 연구 동향 분석: 2006년부터 2015년을 중심으로

본 연구는 학술지에 수록된 논문을 중심으로 유아 놀이와 관련한 연구 동향을 고찰해 보고 연구방향 설정을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 2006년부터 2015년까지 발행된 등재 및 등재 후보 학술지의 유아 놀이 관련 연구 논문 399편이었다. 분석결과 2006년부터 2013년까지 유아 놀이 관련 연구들이 지속적으로 증가되었으며, 특히 2013년에 그 수가 매우 증가하였다. 그러나 이러한 흐름은 2014년 이후 다소 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 유아 놀이 관련 연구들은 유아교육관련 학술지 뿐 만 아니라 교육 및 사회과학 관련 분야에서도 발견되었다. 연구주제는 놀이 행위를 다룬 연구가 가장 많았으며, 놀이지도, 놀이와 교육과정 및 프로그램 개발, 놀이 발달 등의 순으로 이루어지고 있었다. 연구 대상은 유아-부모, 4세 유아-5세 유아 등 혼합 대상으로 이루어진 경우보다 5세 유아, 부모 등 단일대상으로 이루어진 경우가 많았다. 연구 방법은 양적 연구(276편)에 집중되었으며, 질적 연구(95편), 문헌 연구(26편), 혼합 연구(2편) 순으로 나타났다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to make an analysis on research trends related to play in early childhood education, and seek a direction of children’s play research in early childhood education. For the purpose, the 399 play articles were selected in journals from 2006 to 2015 focused on accredited or listed candidate journals of Korean Citation Index. Period, themes, contents and method of research were analyzed by calculating frequency. Results of the study are as follows. Researches related to children’s play of all, it was found that the quantity of research had been increasing from 2006 through 2013 and have decreased since 2014. Children’s play research were found in the education, social science as well as early childhood educational journals. The single subject researches(246) were more common than researches that have a variety of subject (154). The single subject researches mostly included children. Regarding research methods, quantitative research methods(276) were the most frequently used in children’s play research, followed by qualitative(95), theoretical(26), mixed ones(2). Research themes were mostly related to playing act, and then play guide, curriculum, play program development, play stage were in order.
