본 연구는 유아교사의 공감능력과 문제해결력의 관계에서 창의적 인성의 매개효과를 검증하고, 이를 기반으로 교사교육 방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상으로 P시에 소재한 유아교사 253명을 선정하였다. 그리고 연구대상에게 공감능력, 창의적 인성, 문제해결력에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 Jamovi 2.6.26 버전을 이용하여 분석하였다. 그리고 창의적 인성의 매개효과를 검정하기 위하여 jamovi Advanced Mediation Models(jAMM) 1.2.4 버전을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 유아교사의 공감능력은 창의적 인성에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교사의 창의적 인성은 문제해결력에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아교사의 공감능력은 문제해결력에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 유아교사의 공감능력과 문제해결력 간의 관계에서 창의적 인성의 부분매개효과가 나타났다. 이를 통해 유아교사의 공감능력과 창의적 인성이 문제해결력에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있다. 또한 유아교사의 정서적․창의적 역량 강화를 기반으로 문제해결력을 증진시키는 방안을 모색함으로써 교사교육의 효과적 방향 설정에 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This study investigated the mediating role of creative personality in the relationship between early childhood teachers’ empathy and problem-solving ability, with the aim of identifying strategies for teacher education that foster such competencies in an integrated manner. Participants were 253 early childhood teachers in P city, who completed questionnaires measuring empathy, creative personality, and problem-solving ability. Data were analyzed using Jamovi 2.6.26, and mediation effects were tested with the Advanced Mediation Models (jAMM) 1.2.4 module. The findings revealed that empathy had a positive effect on creative personality, creative personality positively influenced problem-solving ability, and empathy also directly affected problem-solving ability. Moreover, creative personality partially mediated the relationship between empathy and problem-solving ability. These results suggest that strengthening both empathy and creative personality is essential for enhancing teachers’ problem-solving ability. This study provides empirical and informative evidence regarding the design of teacher education programs. It also contributes to a deeper understanding of the interrelated roles of empathy, creativity, and problem-solving in early childhood education.
