페이스북을 활용한 대학수업에서 학습실재감과 각 실재감 하위요인의 학습만족도, 학습지속의지 예측

본 연구는 대학수업에서 페이스북을 활용한 학습을 설계하거나 실천하고자 할 때, 적절한 학습실재감 전략을 제공하고자 페이스북을 활용한 학습에 참여한 95명의 대학생들을 대상으로 페이스북을 활용한 학습성과(학습만족도, 학습지속의지)를 예측하는 학습 실재감 요인과 하위요소들을 실증적으로 규명하였다. 연구 참여자들은 16주간 페이스북 상에서 학습을 진행하고, 학습활동이 끝난 후 인지, 사회, 감성 실재감과 학습만족도, 학습지속의지 설문에 응답하였다. 수집된 데이터는 상관분석과 회귀분석으로 분석되었다. 연구 결과, 인지, 사회, 감성실재감은 모두 학습만족도와 학습지속의지를 유의하게 예측하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 학습만족도를 예측하는 인지실재감 하위요인은 ‘학습내용이해’, ‘지식창출정도’였고, 사회실재감 하위요인은 ‘공존감’, ‘영향력’, ‘응집력’이었다. 또한 ‘감정인식’요인이 감성실재감 하위요인 중 유일하게 학습만족도를 유의하게 예측하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 학습지속의지를 유의하게 예측했던 인지실재감 하위요인은 ‘학습내용이해’, ‘지식창출정도’로 학습만족도를 예측하는 요인과 동일하였고, 사회실재감 하위요인으로는 ‘영향력’, 감성실재감 하위요인으로는 ‘감정인식’, ‘감정관리’가 유의하게 예측하는 요인이었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로, 본 연구에서는 페이스북에서 학습자의 학습만족도, 학습지속의지를 높이기 위한 인지, 사회, 감성실재감 전략을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the predictability of learning presence(cognitive, social, and emotional) and sub-factors of each presence on the persistence and satisfaction in university lectures using facebook. To investigate this purpose, 95 university students who took a course “career education” class participated in this research. and they experienced various learning activities on facebook during 16 weeks. After the instruction, they responded learning presence(cognitive, social, emotional), learning satisfaction and learning persistence survey. Those data were analyzed by correlation and multiple regression analysis. The research findings are summarized as follows: first, learning presence significantly predicted learning persistence in university lectures using facebook. second, ‘understanding of learning content’, ‘knowledge construction’ which are subfactor of cognitive presence, ‘co-presence’, ‘influence’, ‘cohesiveness’ which are subfactor of social presence and ‘perception’ which is subfactor of emotional presence significantly predicted learning satisfaction. Third, ‘understanding of learning content’, ‘knowledge construction’ which are subfactor of cognitive presence, ‘influence’ which is subfactor of social presence and ‘perception’, ‘emotional management’ which are subfactor of emotional presence significantly predicted learning persistence. The findings suggested that learning presence should be facilitated to enhance learning outcomes in university lectures using facebook.
