Abstract
What is distributive justice? To understand the concept of distributive justice, we depend upon various theories. However, being sophisticated and complicated, the theories are in our way to a clear understanding of the concept of distributive justice. Thus, we need a framework for an easy understanding and an integral study of theories of distributive justice. The framework, with some preliminary remarks, comprises three main points of theories: why to distribute? (purpose of distribution), what to distribute? (objects of distribution), and how to distribute? (methods of distribution) The purpose of this paper is not to help understand what distributive justice is, but what theories of distributive justice are.
