헤겔 철학에 대해 항상 제기되는 과거적 성격을 다룬 논문에서 논자의 핵심 기획은 헤겔주의의 테두리 안에서, 그것도 특히 체계의 근본학인 논리학의 핵심 부분에서 미래적 전망의 정초 가능성을 찾는 것이다. 많은 부분에서 논자의 분석과 주장에 동의할 수 있으나, 첨언하고 싶은 것은, 주요 관건이 논리학의 구조적 완결성이 실재철학의 시공간적 개방성과 양립할 수 있도록 하는 것이라면 가장 효과적인 전략은 논리학과 실재철학의 대응관계를 새로이 설정할 수 있는지를 찾는 데 있다는 점이다. 이 때문에 논리학의 여러 지점에서 미래적 가능성의 단초를 발견하고자 하는 논자의 진술들에서도, 특히 ‘이념의 자연으로의 이행’ 부분과 ‘철학 이후의 이행의 불가능성’ 사이에서 발견되는 구조적 불일치가 제대로 다루어졌더라면 헤겔에 대한 더욱 완성도 높은 대응책이 마련될 수 있었지 않나 여겨진다.
Abstract
In her treatise about Hegel’s ‘passatism’, O. K. Kim tries to find new possibilities of interpretating Hegel, by means of which we can assert that Hegel’ Science of Logic is orientated not only to the past but also to the future. Even though I agree with her in most viewpoints, I would like to add some critical remarks on that issue: if the most important argument consists in the thesis that the constructive completeness of the Science of Logic is compatible with the temporal and spacial openness of the phenomenal realm, the most efficient strategy should be found in seeking a new correspondence between the Logic and the Real-philosophy. Therefore, if we focuses on the Hegelian discordance between the transition of the Idea to nature and the absolute impossibility of any new transition after the stage of philosophy, we could find a more promising ways of revising Hegel’s thoughts.
