The Positive Association between Economic Growth based on Convention Center and Increased Tourist Visitors

Purpose: In this focus on convention centers, the research aims at establishing how successful economic ventures are unique inboth their economic growth and how the development of such centers can lead to a sustainable economic benefit to the localeconomies. This study will be useful in the general discussion on the sustainability of tourism development. Research design,data and methodology: This research adopts a systematic literature review approach in collecting and synthesizing previousresearch works contained in the study to develop the result. It is acknowledged that selecting and including relevant materials inthe study is rigorous, which is why the final literature review and analysis of the study. Results: The four major positiveinterconnections of economic growth triggered by convention centers. All these relations are associated with the unimaginableimpact that convention centers may have on the economy within the tourist industry. Conclusions: The results of the study pointto the spillover effects the convention centers have on the local economies and the necessity of wise investment in the conventioncenters. Public policymakers should take advantage of convention centers as a tool for stimulating sustainable tourismdevelopment and regional competitiveness by promoting both public and private sector partnerships.
