시편 151편의 11Q5와 칠십인역 본문 자료에 관한 연구

본 연구는 히브리어 본문에는 없지만, 칠십인역과 11Q5에 있는 시편 151편의 본문의 자료를 추적하는 것이 목적이다. 두 시편은 모두 다윗이 사무엘에게 기름 부음을 받고, 골리앗과 치른 첫 전투에서 승리한 이야기를 전한다. 따라서, 둘 다 이 이야기를 전하는 사무엘상 16장과 17장의 본문 전통과 연관되어 있다. 또한, 사무엘서에 나타나지 않는 본문 전통을 두 시편에서 공통적으로 찾아볼 수 있는데, 이로써 시문 형태의 이 두 시편이 시문 저작 과정에서도 연관되었다고 여길 수 있다. 11Q5의 본문은 칠십인역의 본문보다 길이가 더 길다. 그래서 11Q5의 본문이 발견되었을 때, 더 짧은 칠십인역이 더 긴 쿰란 전통의 본문을 요약했다고 여겼다. 그러나 그 이후 또 다른 학자들은 반대로 칠십인역의 본문을 11Q5가 확장했다고 주장하기도 했다. 본 연구에서는 이런 두 견해에 대해 본문의 전통을 면밀하게 분석하여, 이 두 주장을 검증한다. 그 결과 처음에 주장되었던 칠십인역의 요약 가설은 특기 151A의 1-4절(칠십인역 1-3절)에서 확인할 수 있으며, 151A의 5-7절과 칠십인역의 4-5절에서는 서로 독자적인 시문 저작 전통을 확인할 수 있다는 사실을 밝혔다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 11Q5와 칠십인역의 시편 151편이 사무엘서의 본문에 기초를 둔 공통의 시문 자료를 바탕으로 제각각 발전한 결과임을 주장한다. 그리하여 본 연구에서는 두 시편의 공통 본문을 바탕으로 그 자료를 일부 재구성하여 제시한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to track the source of Psalm 151 found in the Septuagint and 11Q5, even though it is not found in the Hebrew text. Both versions tell the story of David receiving an anointing from Samuel and winning his first battle against Goliath, and are therefore associated with the textual tradition of 1 Samuel 16 and 17. In addition, common textual traditions not found in the Book of Samuel can be identified in both psalms, suggesting that these two poetic compositions are also related in their poetic composition process. The text of 11Q5 is longer than that of the Septuagint, so when the text of 11Q5 was discovered, it was thought that the shorter Septuagint summarized the longer Qumran tradition. However, other scholars have argued the opposite, that the text of the Septuagint was expanded by 11Q5. This study thoroughly analyzes the textual tradition to verify these two claims, ultimately demonstrating that the Septuagint's summary hypothesis can be confirmed in verses 1-4 of 151A (1-3 in the Septuagint), while verses 5-7 of 151A and verses 4-5 of the Septuagint reveal independent poetic composition traditions. Accordingly, this study argues that the psalm 151 of 11Q5 and the Septuagint were independently developed based on a common poetic material rooted in the text of Samuel. Thus, this study presents a partial reconstruction of the material based on the common text of the two psalms.
