Abstract
This study aims to derive improvement plans by analyzing evaluation and monitoring data for project-based training, which is applied in the field of digital new technology. To this end, a project supported by the Ministry of Employment and Labor (the 4th Industrial Revolution leader training project) was selected, and evaluation and monitoring data (22 courses of 19 institutions), which were the most recently evaluated for project-based training, were secured and evaluated. Evaluation grade technical statistics, and discriminant analysis were performed on the data, and content analysis was performed on the monitoring data. In conclusions, first, the evaluation grades (A-D grades) of the project-based training course are 11 courses for B grade (50%), 6 courses for C grade (27.3%), and 5 courses for D grade (22.7%). And the overall average was 76.41 (including additional points, 75.77 excluding additional points). The indicators with the lowest average conversion of 100 points are the participation of the partner companies in the system area (68.18) and the possibility of practical use in the areas of participation and results (69.09). In terms of acceptance of new technological changes and orientation to industrial sites, it received not very high evaluation. Second, the indicators that commonly determine the evaluation grades (B-C grades, C-D grades) of the project-based training course are the result creativity (+) and practical useability (+). The higher the B grade, the higher the evaluation was for the excellence of efforts and results in the qualitative part of the project implementation. The C grade received relatively high evaluation in part of the excellence of efforts and results in the basic and formal part of project execution. Third, the issues related to project operation and evaluation derived through monitoring were the project execution method (linked to the partner company, the training institution itself), the project topic and level, and the project presentation used for hiring interviews by companies. In the suggestions for improvement plan, first, it is necessary to provide a project implementation guideline so that the project linked to the partner company can be activated in the right direction. Second, it is necessary to improve the evaluation indices for project participation/results by paying attention to the positive changes and achievement improvement of trainees through project execution. Third, there is a need for more revitalization of project presentations operated as part of recruitment interviews by participating companies. Fourth, in order to more vitalize project-based training from the trainee's point of view, it is necessary to award an excellent project result.
