프로젝트기반학습을 적용한 전문대학생 직업기초능력 향상 사례연구

본 연구는 전문대학교 수업에서 프로젝트기반학습이 재학생의 직업기초능력 향상에 기여하는지 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 연구수행을 위해 직업기초능력 하위영역을 선정하고 프로젝트기반학습이 적용된 수업에서 사전-사후 진단검사 결과를 비교하여 교육적 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 약 한 학기동안 프로젝트기반학습이 적용된 수업 전후에 진단검사를 실시한 결과, 전반적으로 전문대학생의 직업기초능력 수준이 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 특히 직업기초능력 하위영역 중 문제해결능력, 자원활용능력(정보활용능력, 도구활용능력), 조직체계이해능력, 대인관계능력(리더십, 갈등관리능력)의 경우, 사전-사후 진단검사 결과차이가 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 프로젝트기반학습이 전문대학생의 직업기초능력을 향상시키는 데 유용한 교수-학습방법 중의 하나임을 재확인할 수 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of project-based learning on college students' vocational core competencies. To fulfill the purpose of the study, 9 sub core competencies for vocational readiness of students were defined by the relate previous studies(such as problem solving skill, communication skill, resource using skill, tool using skill, leadership, teamwork skill, conflict management skill, responsibility and self confidence). A pre-test and a post-test were conducted in order to compare the improvement of levels of the sub skills of vocational core competencies after project-based learning implemented in the college classes. The study findings showed the most skills and values with the application of project-based learning approach were significantly improved, and as a result, project-based learning was regarded as an effective teaching and learning strategy for upgrading college students' vocational core competencies.
