Results of this study showed that the two groups of learners revealed certain similarities and differences in terms of types of gratitude. Both groups used significantly similar gratitude types such as "thanking" and "appreciation" in overall situations. However, some strategies are t situations, they used various 7 types of strategies. The results illustrated that English learners in theological university usually used main strategies of gratitude like other participants in the previous studies. Based on the results, various strategies of gratitude, including minor strategies, should be taught in English class.
