초록

This study sought to understand the life and works of David Tai- Woong Lee who was one of the early Korean missiologists. He worked for Joy Mission in the 1970’s, founded Global Missionary Training Center in 1986, and trained Korean missionaries for 21 years. After retirement, he continued to help Korean missionaries develop their leadership competence and published his works. For 21 years from 1986 to 2017, he has published at 70 short and long articles. Some of his articles were republished and included in a number of books. He wrote articles in mission practice, mission theory, and missionary training. His works have paid attention to four themes such as Korean missionary, conservative mission theology, life change as mission, and lay people in missions. four marks: Korean missionary, conservative mission theology, life change as mission, and lay people in missions.

Abstract

This study sought to understand the life and works of David Tai- Woong Lee who was one of the early Korean missiologists.
