본 연구에서는 국내에서 개발된 읽기 능력 검사 도구의 음운 인식 능력 진단⋅평가 문항을분석하여 그 타당성을 검토하고, 나아가 검사 도구 개발에서 참조해야 할 점을 제안하였다. 특별히 음운 층위에 초점을 둔 것은 음운에 대한 인식이 문식 능력의 출발선이며, 언어에 따라음운의 수와 체계 등이 다르므로 해당 언어의 특징이 반드시 고려되어야 하기 때문이다. 분석의 대상은 2010년 이후 개발된 진단 도구이며, 먼저 각 도구의 해당 영역 구성 체제와 문항 내용을 개관한 다음, 검사 영역별로 진단 도구를 비교․분석하면서 특징과 제한점을 논의하였다. 연구의 결과로 이후 진단 도구 개발에서 고려되어야 할 내용을 몇 가지 제안하였다. 우리말 음운 및 한글의 쓰기 특성을 더 면밀하게 고려하기, 음운이 지역성의 영향을 강하게 받으므로표준화 검사 참여자의 범위 확대하기, 검사 자료를 구성할 때 피검사자인 학생의 흥미를 고려하기 등이 그것이다.
Abstract
In this study, we analyzed the phonological awareness assessment of the reading comprehension ability test. The reason for the special focus on phonological awareness is that it is an essential factor in reading. In this work, for diagnostic tools developed since 2010, we discussed their features and supplements. As a result of the study, we suggested that the following should be reflected in the development of the assessment and evaluation model : to accurately and closely consider the writing characteristics of Korean phonology and Hangul, expanding the range of standardization test participants because phonological feature is strongly influenced by locality, referring to the interests of the student as the test subject when composing the test data.
