기업의 지향성과 역량이 기업성과에 미치는 영향 실증분석: 한국 제조 벤처기업을 중심으로

급변하는 환경에 민첩하게 대응하고 혁신적인 도전을 과감하게 시도해 볼 수 있는 측면에서 벤처기업의 역할은 경제환경에서 중요하다. 특히 전체 벤처기업의 58%가 제조업에 집중된 만큼 제조벤처 기업에 관한 연구가 필요하다고 판단되어, 본 연구는 제조벤처기업의 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하고자 했다. 본 연구에서는 기업성과를 국제성과, 혁신성과 그리고 재무성과로 분석했다. 더불어 재무성과는 매출액 그리고 당기순이익을 분석했다. 본 연구에서는 기업성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 기업의 지향성과 역량을 중심으로 분석하였다. 지향성은 전략지향성과 혁신지향성을 분석하고, 역량에서는 혁신역량, 사업화역량 그리고 외부자원활용역량을 분석하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 국제성과와 혁신성과를 매개요인으로 분석하여 최종 기업의 재무성과 개선을 위한 경영관리적 시사점을 제시하고 한국벤처기업 연구에 기여할 것으로 기대한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 벤처기업실태조사의 제조업 데이터를 활용하여 빈도분석, 상관관계분석 그리고 단계적 회계분석을 진행했다. 분석결과, 각 기업성과 별로 유의한 지향성과 역량에서 차이가 보였다. 하지만 국제성과와 혁신성과는 모두 유의한 매개효과를 재무성과에 보였는데, 특히 당기순이익에 대해서는 완전매개효과를 보였다. 본 연구는 결과적으로 연구결과를 활용해서 벤처기업 경영성과 관리에 시사점을 제시하고, 본 연구의 한계를 제시하고 미래연구를 제안한다.
Abstract
The role of venture companies is important in the economic environment in that they can respond quickly to rapidly changing environments and boldly try innovative challenges. In particular, as 58% of all venture companies are concentrated in the manufacturing industry, research on manufacturing venture companies is judged to be necessary, so this study attempted to analyze the factors affecting the performance of manufacturing venture companies. In this study, corporate performance was analyzed as international performance, innovation performance, and financial performance, sales, and net profit were analyzed. In this study, the factors affecting corporate performance were analyzed focusing on the company's orientation and capability. For orientation, strategic orientation and innovation orientation were analyzed, and for competency, innovation capability, commercialization capability, and external resource utilization capability were analyzed. In particular, this study is expected to analyze internationalization and innovation performance as mediating factors, present management implications for improving the financial performance of the final company, and contribute to the research of Korean venture companies. To this end, this study conducted frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and step-by-step accounting analysis using the manufacturing industry data of the venture company survey. As a result of the analysis, there was a difference in significant orientation and capability for each corporate performance. However, both internationalization and innovation performance showed significant mediating effects on financial performance, especially on net income. As a result, this study uses the research results to present implications for venture company management performance management, presents the limitations of this study, and proposes future research.
