알파고 쇼크로 대변되는 인공지능의 약진은 인류의 미래를 걱정할 정도로 빠르게 우리의 생활에 스며들고 있으며산업 전반에 지대한 영향을 미치고 있다. 인공지능 기술의중심에는 빅데이터가 있으며, 자연스럽게 빅데이터의 이용에 따른 개인정보보호가 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 인공지능의 발전과 개인정보보호라는 두 가지 상충되는 가치를 효율적으로 증진시킬 수 있는 방법에 대해서 살펴본다. 인공지능 및 빅데이터의 현황 및 개인정보보호 관련 법률체계를 살펴보고 발전적 방향에 대해서 제언을 한다.
Abstract
Advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI), which are reflected in the so-called AlphaGo Shock, are quickly becoming a part of people’s lives, and are significantly impacting the overall industrial sector, so that there are concerns over the future of humankind. Big data is at the center of AI technologies that are garnering increasing attention. According to the use of big data, personal information protection is naturally becoming an important issue since the development of AI and privacy are two conflicting values. In this paper, we are going to look at ways to enhance their values efficiently. This study understands the current situation of AI, big data, and the relevant legal framework of personal privacy and suggests the developmental direction of both AI development and personal information protection.
