『유럽공통참조기준』이 제시하고 있는 언어 교수·학습·평가의 새로운 관점을 근거로 하여 우리의 프랑스어 교육에서 ‘자기주도 학습’을 실현할 수 있는 실용적 평가 모델을 고안해 보는 것이 이 연구의 목적이다. 본 논문은 『유럽공통참조기준』에 대한 기술의 부분과 포트폴리오 설계를 위한 이론과 실제 부분으로 구성되어 있다. 의사소통 접근법의 상호작용(interaction) 패러다임에 대한 새로운 비전을 제시하고 있는 행위중심 접근법에 대한 이해를 위하여 『유럽공통참조기준』의 출현 배경, 언어교수 방법론상의 특징, 언어철학, 평가에 대한 입장을 객관적으로 기술하고 있다. 또한 이 새로운 관점을 참조하여 우리의 교실에 적용할 수 있는 포트폴리오를 구상하면서 평가를 보는 두개의 패러다임인 ‘평정’(contrôle) 축과 ‘양성/정보’(formation/information) 축을 비교하고 교육과정이 추구하는 인간관과 교육목표의 실현에 부합된다고 판단하는 질적평가의 가치를 강조하고 있다. 연구개발 자료로는 유럽평의회 주도로 개발된 『유럽인을 위한 언어 포트폴리오』를 참조하여 우리의 제도권 프랑스어 학습자를 위한 질적평가 모델로서의 포트폴리오를 고안하였다. 한정된 지면 사정상 본 논문에서의 과제는 이상적인 포트폴리오의 개발을 위한 실용적인 항목 설계로 한정하고 전체 구성의 외형과 개별 항목의 실제를 보여주는 일부 모델을 제시한다.
Abstract
Based on the new perspective of language teaching·learning·assessment proposed by the Common European Framework of References for languages(CEFR), this research aims to devise a pragmatic evaluation model for ‘self-directed learning' in the Korean French learning and teaching context. This article consists of two main parts: the descriptive presentation of CEFR and the theoretical and practical components for the portfolio design. In order to understand CEFR which proposes a new perspective with a critical awareness of the shortcomings of communicative approach, this article presents its background, identity, methodological features, language philosophy and general view of evaluation. While developing a portfolio applicable to Korean French classes, the research puts an emphasis on the value of qualitative evaluation as a proper way of looking at the whole person that the national curriculum pursues, comparing the two evaluation paradigms - ‘control' and ‘formation/information'. Referring to the European Language Portfolio developed by the Council of Europe, the research introduces some parts of qualitative evaluation model for the Korean secondary students. It focuses on the introduction of ideal and practical portfolio items but the classroom application and its results are in the process of being observed.
