초등 미술과 수업에 나타난 내용교수지식(PCK) 분석 연구

오늘날 예술교육의 중요성이 부각됨에 따라 미술교육에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있지만, 교육현장에서의 미술수업은 적지 않은 문제점을 안고 있다. 실기위주의 교과라는 오해와 미술의 본질에 대한 인식 부족 등의 다양한 이유들이 있겠지만, 무엇보다도 수업 개선을 위한 체계화된 연구가 부족했기 때문이 아닌가 싶다. 이에 2000년대부터 점진적으로 논의가 되어온 내용교수지식(PCK)에 대한 연구는 미술수업의 전문성은 물론, 교사의 정체성 제고에 많은 영향력을 끼칠 수 있다고 본다. 따라서 본 연구자는 선행연구들을 통해 PCK의 기본적인 내용을 이해하고, 미술과의 내용교수지식에 대한 구성요소를 조직하여 하나의 사례수업을 가지고 PCK를 분석함으로써 그 성격과 의의를 고찰해보았다. 그 결과 미술과의 수업에서 내용교수지식은 교사의 전문성을 높일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 수업 개선에도 발전을 가져올 수 있으며, 더불어 미술교육의 가치를 높이는 데에도 도움을 줄 수 있다고 본다.
Abstract
As highlighted the importance of art education today, attention has been focused on art education. But art classes in the field of education has a lot of problems. There are reasons about the misunderstandings of practical-oriented curriculum and lack of awareness of the nature of art and etc, but above all, I guess that the systematic studies for instructional improvement was lacking. Because of this, the research of PCK which has been gradually discussed from the 2000s can have a impact the enhance of teachers' identity as well as art of teaching expertise. Therefore, the researcher understood the basic information about PCK through previous studies and organized the components with PCK of art and examined that the nature and the significance of it by analyzing PCK through the case of a class. As a result, the PCK in the art class can raise the professionalism of teachers and bring on the development of instructional improvement and help to increase the value of art education.
