본 연구는 2022 개정 교육과정에서 생태적 관점을 적극적으로 반영하고 있는 것에 주목하여, 체육과 수업에서 이를 실현하기 위한 실천방안을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 교육과정 문서, 교육과정 시안, 학위논문, 학술지논문, 보도자료 등을 대상으로 문헌분석(literature analysis)을 실시하였다. 첫째, 개정 교육과정과 생태적 관점의 관계를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 개정 교육과정에서는 ‘추진배경 및 인간상’, ‘교육목표’, ‘학습주제’, ‘교과영역’의 차원에서 생태적 관점을 적극적으로 반영하고 있다. 또한 개정 교육과정에서 제안하는 생태전환교육이란 ‘인간과 환경의 공존, 지속가능한 삶’을 강조한 개념으로, 교수학습방향 및 교수학습운영의 측면에서 이를 적극적으로 고려할 것을 명시하고 있다. 둘째, 체육과의 생태전환교육 실천방안을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. ‘체육과 내용요소별 생태관련 주제의 도출’, ‘생태의식 내면화를 위한 다양한 교수학습방법의 실행’, ‘친환경적 용·기구 및 복장의 제작과 활용’, 그리고 ‘생태적 교감이 가능한 자연환경에서의 신체활동 수행’을 도출하였다. 결론적으로 체육과는 사회적 변화와 요구를 수용하여 생태적 관점을 적극적으로 반영하고 있으며, 생태전환교육을 실현하기 위해서는 다각적이며 체계적인 접근이 필요한 것으로 드러났다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 ‘체육과 생태전환교육을 위한 학교급 및 영역별 교육콘텐츠 개발과 실행연구’와 ‘체육과 생태전환교육의 효과적 실천을 위한 플랫폼 마련과 교사연수 시행’을 제안한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the practical approaches for ecological transition education in the 2022 revised physical education curriculum, which actively reflects ecological principles. For this purpose, a literature analysis was conducted on curriculum documents, curriculum drafts, theses, journal articles, and press releases. First, the relationship between the revised curriculum and the ecological perspective is as follows. The revised curriculum actively reflects the ecological perspective in the dimensions of ‘background and human image’, ‘educational goals’, ‘learning topics’, and ‘subject areas’. In addition, ecological transition education proposed in the revised curriculum is a concept that emphasizes the coexistence of humans and the environment and sustainable life, and it emphasizes considering it in terms of teaching and learning direction and management. Second, the practical approaches to implement the ecological perspective in physical education are as follows. As practical approaches, ‘deriving ecology related topics by content elements’, ‘practicing various teaching and learning methods for internalizing ecological consciousness’, ‘creating and utilizing eco-friendly supplies and clothes’, and ‘performing physical activity in a natural setting with ecological connections’ were derived. In conclusion, it was found that physical education is actively reflecting ecological perspectives by accepting social changes and demands, and that a multifaceted and systematic approach is needed to realize ecological transition education. Based on the findings of this study, I suggest ‘the development of school-level and area-specific educational content and implementation research for ecological transition in physical education’, and ‘the platform and teacher training for effective practice of ecological transition in physical education’.
