생태전환교육 관점으로 본 초등교과서 신체표현활동 분석: 2015, 2022개정교육과정 1~4학년을 중심으로

본 연구는 생태전환교육으로서의 초등 신체표현활동에 관한 연구이다. 국내외 학술지를 바탕으로 생태전환교육 관련 무용교육의 현황을 살펴보고, 아울러 2015와 202 2 개정교육과정의 생태전환교육을 반영한 초등교과서를 분석하였다. 그 결과 3-4학년체육교과는 이전 교육과정에 비해 2022 개정교육과정에서 관련 활동이 양적으로 급격히 증가하였고, 내용 면에서의 다양화와 구체화가 이루어졌다. 이와는 대조적으로 1, 2학년 통합교과서의 경우 양적 감소 현상이 발견되었다. 그러나 이 현상은 교과서의단원명, 즉 2015 개정교육과정의 ‘봄, 여름, 가을, 겨울’이라는 계절 명칭에서 기인한 필연적 결과로 추측되며, 오히려 ‘약속’ 단원에서 생태교육의 집중화를 발견할수 있었다. 대부분의 교과서는 교육과정 총론에 제시한 개정 지침으로서의 생태전환교육 강화 요구를 충실히 반영한 것으로 보이나, 실제 교육의 현장에서 이러한 가치를적용하고 구현할 수 있는 교수전략 및 교사의 역량 개발이 요구되는 시점이다.
Abstract
This research is a study on physical expression activities of elementary school curriculum as ecological transformation education. Based on domestic and foreign academic papers, this study reviewed current dance education regarding ecological transformation education and analyzed elementary school textbooks that reflect ecological transformation education of the education curriculum revised in 2015 and 2022. The results showed that related activities increased to a great extent quantitatively and the contents were more diversified and specified in the physical education curriculum revised in 2022 for 3rd and 4th graders, compared to the previous education curriculum. In contrast, in case of integrated textbooks for 1st and 2nd graders, a quantitative decrease was found. However, it is estimated that this decrease was inevitably caused by the names of seasons, “Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter”, which are unit titles used in the textbooks in the education curriculum revised in 2015. It was also found that ecological transformation education was focused rather in the ‘Promise’ unit.
