종업원참여제도와 주주이익보호제도가 노사협력수준에 미치는 영향 : 기업지배구조에 관한 이해관계자 관점을 중심으로

초록

본 연구에서는 기업수준 종업원참여제도 및 기업지배구조에서 부각되고 있는 주주이익보호제도가 각각, 그리고 상호작용을 통해서 노사협력 수준에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 즉, 기업지배구조에 관한 이해관계자 관점에서 중시하는 기업의 주요 이해관계자인 종업원과 주주를 중심으로 하여 기업수 준 의사결정 과정에 대한 종업원참여 수준과 주주이익보호 수준이 노사협력 수준에 미치는 영향과 함께, 종업원참여 수준이 노사협력 수준에 미치는 영 향력이 주주이익보호 수준에 따라서 어떻게 달라지는가를 실증연구를 통해 밝혀보고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 종업원참여 수준은 노사협력 수준에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 주주이익보호 수준과 노사협력 수준 은 역 U자형의 관계를 보여주고 있었다. 한편, 주주이익보호 수준은 종업원 참여 수준이 노사협력 수준에 미치는 영향을 부(-)의 방향으로 조절하고 있 어서 주주와 종업원을 중심으로 한 기업의 이해관계자들 간의 균형적이고 효과적인 이해조정이 필요하다는 점을 제시하고 있다.

Abstract

This study conducted the empirical research focusing on the effect of the employee participation and shareholder rights to the labor-management relationship in the corporate governance mechanism. And the analysis of the interaction effect of the employee participation and shareholder rights to the labor-management relationship was also conducted. The result of this study are as follows: First, the level of employee participation has the positive relations to the labor-management relationship. Second, shareholder rights have inverted U-shaped associations with good labor-management relationship. Third, shareholder rights and the level of employee participation have negative interaction effect on the labormanagement relationship. The result of this study suggests that there is a need to compromise mutual interest of the employee participation and shareholder rights in the corporate governance mechanism.
