기술금융 중소기업과 일반 중소기업의 경영성과 비교분석 - 기술신용대출을 받은 기술금융 중소기업을 중심으로 -

초록

본 연구는 기술력 평가모형을 기반으로 선별된 기술금융 중소기업과 일반 중소기업의 평가 후 3년간의 경영성과 비교분석을 통해 기술금융의 효율성과 필요성을 확인하고자 시작되었다. 성향점수매칭을 통해 기술금융 중소기업과 비슷한 성향의 일반 중소기업을 선별한 후 평균 경영성과와 연도별 경영성과에 유의한 차이가 있는지를 확인하였다. 평균 경영성과의 경우 기술금융 중소기업의 매출액 증가율과 부채비율이 일반 중소기업에 비해 유의하게 열위에 있지만, 연도별 상세분석을 실시한 결과 기술금융 중소기업의 매출액 증가율은 변동성이 작아 안정적이며, 단기적으로 기업의 부채비율이 증가하지만 시간이 경과함에 따라 평균 수준으로 정상화 된다는 결론을 도출하였다. 이를 통해 기술금융의 효율성과 필요성을 일정부분 확인하였으며, 기술력 평가모형이 제한적 범위 내에서 미래 경영성과를 설명할 수 있는 ‘미래 진보성’ 중심의 평가모형이라는 결론을 도출하였다.

Abstract

This study was started to confirm the efficiency and necessity of technology financing through comparative analysis of 3 - year business performance after the appraisal of technology financing SMEs and general SMEs selected based on technology appraisal model. We selected general SMEs with similar tendencies to technology financing SMEs through the propensity score matching, and then confirmed that there is a significant difference between average performance and yearly performance. In the case of average business performance, the sales growth rate and the debt ratio of technology financing SMEs were significantly inferior to those of general SMEs. However, as a result of detailed analysis by year, the sales growth rate of technology financing SMEs is stable, and the debt ratio increases in the short term, but it is normalized to the average level over time. This confirms the efficiency and necessity of technology financing and concludes that the technology appraisal model is a ‘Forward-looking’ based model that can explain future business performance within a limited scope.
