Abstract

This study analyzes how the regulatory environment of each country moderates the relationship between the technological entrepreneurship in countries and national-level innovativeness. This study analyzes the effect of the ratio of technology based on entrepreneurial activities on national innovativeness by the regression analysis of panel data, and also analyzes the moderating effect of regulation as an environmental variable on the relationship. Our analysis with the data of global entrepreneurship, national innovation and regulatory environments in 84 countries shows that the higher the ratio of technology based on entrepreneurial activities in the country leads the greater innovation of the country and the regulatory level of the country negatively moderates the effect of technological entrepreneurial activities on innovation.
