이 논문은 1920년대 민요시 운동의 근원과 성격을 연구하였다. 그 근원으로 애국계몽기와 1910년대의 ‘민요조 시가’의 근대적 성격을 고찰하였다. 1920년대 지식인들의 민요 의식과 민요시 운동의 영향 관계도 검토하였다. 주요한이광수의 민요시론과 김억의 민요시론에 내재하는 차이점을 밝혔다. 그리고 김소월의 민요시가 변화하는 과정을 연구하여, 민요시의 근대적 성격과 가능성을 밝혀 보았다.
Abstract
This study inquired into the source and central features of the 1920s' folk-song-styled poems. The study of the source was focused on the modernity of the folk-song-styled Shiga which were written in the period of Enlightening Patrioticism and the 1910s. A research was also done on the mutual influence between the movement of folk-song-styled poems and the contemporary intellectuals' thoughts of the folk song. The differences in the poetic theories of the major writers such as Joo Yo-Han, Lee Kwang-Soo and Kim Eok were important aims of this study. The modernity and possibility of the folk-song-styled poems were brought out in the changing process of Kim So-Wol's folk-song-styled poems.
