Abstract
This study is focused on the different aspects of question: psychological, cognitive, linguistic and psycholinguistic. The phenomenon of question has a great meaning being included into the whole structure of intellectual act.Regarding to the process of speech perception and speech production question carries out the following functions: 1) problem’s generating (forming, formation of a problem); 2) regulating of speech production; 3) correction. At the same time a set of questions to some text reflects the individual features of text comprehension and may be used for studying the differences of text perception and comprehension.The analysis of experimental questions to some text discovers the correlation between the structural and semantic types of questions, from one side, and cognitive styles of individuals, from the other.
