Abstract
This study is purpose of finding the professional ethics and a feature of frame-novel reappearing that in I Cheng Jun's A Fool and An Ass, A Falconer. The characters in his novels has shaped their identity by experiencing political breakdown and modernization after 6.25 war. So, I want to problem the ethics consciousness as modern value system through-out the job. Characters strike against the potential social-discourse repeatedly. His novel has shaped the ethics-system of real-inadptability to narrative-mode. At that point, the ethics is 'how to live?'. He wants to know the moral-view for understanding the present-age society. Novel-writting in A Fool and An Ass, A Falconer is method to narrate that ethics-phenomena, and the only way to representing a ethics-distress of them-self.
