Speech evaluation is an important part of Mongolian speech engineering. The establishment of a scientific database is the basis and key issue in the development of the evaluation system for Mongolian Standards Pronunciation. This article will elaborate four basic database including text database, sound database, score database, and electronic pronunciation dictionary regarding the development requirements of the speech evaluation system, and discusses about the basic problem of supra segmental and segmentation involved in the development of the evaluation system.
Abstract
