이성중심 사상사 속에서 놀이는 부차적 차원의 행위 양식이었다. 그러나 놀이를 인간 문화 형성의 핵심으로 이해한 호이징아의 견해는 새로운 관점에서 놀이를 바라볼 수 있게 하였다. 놀이의 특성을 증명한 호이징아와 놀이를 객관적이며 실증적으로 분석한 카이와, 그리고 놀이 속에서 인간 실존을 언급한 핑크의 주장은 인간과 놀이의 관계를 다각적으로 파악해 볼 수 있는 단초를 제공하였다. 인간 행위를 이해하기 위한 도덕교육은 이들의 주장을 통해 놀이의 의미를 되새겨볼 필요성을 갖는다. 특히, 도덕과 수업에서 놀이는 수단적 역할에 한정되는 것이 아니라 놀이의 특성을 통해 수업 자체와 관계하며, 놀이하는 인간을 통해 실존의 영역으로 들어서게 한다. 놀이하는 인간은 더 이상 수준 낮은 행위를 하는 것이 아니며, 도덕과 교육에서 놀이는 더 이상 수단적 지위에 머무르지 않는다. 놀이와 인간에 대한 새로운 이해는 도덕교육적 놀이에 대한 의미를 내포한다. 더 나아가 놀이와 도덕적 행위의 연관은 인간 행위의 다각적 이해를 통해 도덕과 교육에 새로운 역할을 요청한다.
Abstract
Play in history of reason-oriented ideas is a secondary act style. However, opinion of Huizinga understanding play as the heart of formation of human culture made people see play in a new perspective. Opinions of Huizinga proving characteristics of play, Kai analyzing play objectively and empirically, and Pink referring to human existence in play offered the beginning to understand relation between person and play in various fields. Moral education to understand a human act needs to mediate a meaning of play through their opinions. Especially, play in moral class not is limited to an instrumental role but is related to class itself through characteristics of play, and enters an existential field through person who is playing. Person who is playing does not act of low standard anymore, and play in moral education does not remain in an instrumental position anymore. New understanding of play and person includes a meaning of moral educational play. Furthermore, relation between play and moral act asks moral education for a new role through multilateral understandings of human act.
