인성교육을 위한 초등 도덕과 교육과정 분석과 향후 개선 방향

도덕과는 학교 인성교육의 핵심 교과이다. 따라서 도덕과 교육과정은 도덕과가 인성교육 핵심 교과로서의 역할을 잘 수행할 수 있도록 구성되어야 한다. 2015 개정 도덕과 교육과정은 인성교육의 핵심 교과로서 도덕과의 역할을 강조하고 구체적인 방향을 명시하고 있다. 그러나 도덕과 교육과정을 통해 인성교육이 온전히 구현되기 위해서는 성격과 목표, 내용 및 방법 면에 있어 수정 보완해 나가야 할 점이 있다. 이 연구는 7차 교육과정부터 2015 개정 교육과정까지의 도덕과 교육과정을 인성교육의 측면에서 분석해 보고, 향후 초등 도덕과 교육과정의 개선 방향을 제안한다.
Abstract
Moral education is a core subject of character education in school. Therefore, the moral education curriculum should be structured so as to perform a key role in character education. The 2015 revised moral education curriculum emphasized the role of moral education as a core subject of character education and specified specific directions. However, in order to implement character education in moral education, it is necessary to revise and supplement the character, goal, content, and method of moral education curriculum. This study examined moral education curriculum in terms of character education and suggested the improvement direction of elementary moral education curriculum.
