글로벌 게임 시장에서 소셜 네트워크 게임(SNG, Social Network Game)은 소셜 네트워크 서비스(SNS, Social Network Service)나 소셜 커머스와 함께 돌풍을 일으켰다고 말할 수 있을 정도로 매우 빠른 성장을 나타내고 있다. SNG의 성장은 SNS의 확대와 스마트폰의 빠른 보급, 다양한 멀티미디어 기기에서 즐길 수 있는 유무선이 연동 게임들이 사용자들에게 보다 높은 호응을 얻은 것이다. 본 논문에서는 SNG의 특성을 고찰하고, 국내외 SNG의 기술과 경향을 파악한 후, SNG가 성공하기 위한 조건을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 SNG 분야에서 국내 게임업계의 경쟁력 강화 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
Abstract
In the global game market, the SNG shows the very fast growth as much as it can refer to that Social raises the strong blast with the SNS or the Social commerce. In the growth of SNG, the expansion of SNS and fast supply of the Smart phone and games in which wireless and wired were operated with and which it can enjoy in the various multimedia devices will be able to obtain the high compliance from the users. In this paper, we considered the characteristic of SNG, and grasped the technology and tendency of local and foreign SNG. And then we analyze the success condition of SNG. Through this, in the field of SNG, we tries to show the competitiveness enhancement strategy of the domestic game industry.
