초록
This research evaluates the implementation of a metaverse platform in Ecuadorian higher education. Through qualitative focus group interviews with students and professors, the research emphasizes the advantages of the platform for creating interactive learning environments while identifying key challenges, such as technical limitations and content integration needs. Results indicate that while the platform fosters engagement, its effects on learning retention and academic performance remain mixed. The study offers insights into region-specific strategies for adopting educational technology and recommendations for future implementation.
Abstract
This research evaluates the implementation of a metaverse platform in Ecuadorian higher education. Through qualitative focus group interviews with students and professors, the research emphasizes the advantages of the platform for creating interactive learning environments while identifying key challenges, such as technical limitations and content integration needs. Results indicate that while the platform fosters engagement, its effects on learning retention and academic performance remain mixed.
