교육공학 전공생을 위한 기업가정신 교육의 효과 분석

최근 우리사회가 기업가적 경제로 전환됨에 따라 기업가정신의 중요성이 더욱 중요해지고 있으며, 이는 교육공학자에게도 필요한 역량이다. 이에 본 연구는 교육공학 전공생을 대상으로 기업가정신 교육을 실행하고 이의 효과성을 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 E대학교에서 2019년 2학기 기업가정신 교육에 참여한 23명의 교육공학 전공생을 대상으로 양적, 질적 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료 중 사전 및 사후 기업가정신 설문 응답 자료는 대응표본 t검정을 통해 기업가정신 교육의 효과성을 분석하였고, 개방형 설문 응답 자료와 에세이는 반복적 비교분석법을 통해 기업가정신 교육을 통해 배운 점과 교육공학자의 기업가정신 의미를 추출하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육공학 전공생은 기업가정신의 모든 하위 요소(성취욕구, 자기통제능력, 위험감수성, 창의력, 자기효능감)에서 통계적으로 유의한 향상을 보였다. 둘째, 교육공학 전공생은 기업가정신 교육을 통해 기업가정신의 필요성, 실패를 두려워하지 않고 도전하는 자세, 경영적 사고, 진로 성찰 등을 배운 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교육공학 전공자로서 기업가정신의 의미는 교육변화를 주도하는 적극성, 실천성, 교수설계자로서의 혁신성으로 인식하였다. 이를 통해 교육공학 전공생을 위한 기업가정신 교육의 효과를 실증적으로 확인하였으며, 이에 따른 시사점으로 교육공학자가 혁신적 교육을 창출, 관리, 활용하는 과정에서 적극성, 실천성, 혁신성을 기르는 기업가정신 교육이 필요함을 논의하였다.

Abstract

With society’s recent transition to an entrepreneurial economy, entrepreneurship education has gained significance, especially as a necessary competency for educational technologists. This study therefore aims to implement entrepreneurship education for educational technology students and to verify its effectiveness. Quantitative and qualitative data were collected from 23 educational technology students who participated in entrepreneurship education in the second semester of 2019 at E University. Pre- and post-entrepreneurship survey response data were analyzed to access the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education through a paired sample t-test. Open-ended survey response data and essays were also evaluated through constant comparative method to identify what students learned from entrepreneurship education and their perceptions on the significance of entrepreneurship. The results of the study are as follows. First, students showed statistically significant improvements in all sub-factors of entrepreneurship (need for achievement, locus of control, risk-taking, creativity, and self-efficacy). Second, they learned the necessity of entrepreneurship, possessing a challenge spirit unafraid of failure, management thinking, and reflecting on their career. Third, the key ideas of entrepreneurship among educational technologists were recognized as proactiveness leading to educational change, practicability, and innovativeness in instructional design. The effects of entrepreneurship education on educational technology students were thus verified empirically. The study addresses the need for entrepreneurship education that fosters proactiveness, practicality, and innovativeness in the process of creating, managing, and implementing innovative education for educational technologists.
