Abstract
This research focused on relationships of the learning style and contents of geography subject matter on Second Grade Students of High School. The contents are classified into four realms: CIS and Cartography, Physical Geography, Urban and Economic Geography, Cultural and Historical Geography, and Environmental Geography. Each is connected with specific learning style by high correlation. Four categories of learning styles were divided by the way of learner’s perception and processing on information : Diverger; Assimilator; Converger; Accommodator. The correlation between divergers and typical Cultural & Historical Geography and Environmental Geography was high. So was between assimilators and typical Physical Geography and Urban & Economic Geography. Learners of Converger style tend to prefer GIS and Cartography. Finally, Regional Development and Regional Environmental Problems were highly correlated with accommodators. High correlation something means the easiness in learning or appropriateness in problem solving. Through analyzing results of experiment, we could show the concrete suggestions for the scaffoldings strategy in geography subject matter.
