본 연구는 국정에서 검정 체제로 변화한 초등 사회과부도의 구성 분석을 바탕으로 AI 기반 미래 교육 환경에서 사회과역량 함양을 위한 초등 AI디지털 사회과부도 개발 방향 논의를 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 현행 2015 개정 초등학교 검정 사회과부도 10종의 외형 체제와 내용 체계를 비교 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 외형 체제의 경우 기존 국정 초등 사회과부도에 비해 판형과 디자인 등이 다양하게 변화하여 학습자 편의 중심으로 변화하는 특징을 확인할 수 있었다. 내용 체계 분석 결과, 사회적사실과 현상 파악 기능은 여전히 수집하기와 분석하기에 편중되었으며, 워크북 기능은 백지도 활동에서 나아가 새롭고 흥미로운 활동들이 다양하게 구성되었다. 분석을 바탕으로 본 연구는 초등 AI디지털 사회과부도가 다양한 컨텐츠와 AI 활용 활동자료를 탑재하여 학습자 중심 개별화 학습 지원을 통한 사회과 역량 및 AI 활용 역량을 함양할 수 있는 구성 방향에 대하여 제안하였다.
Abstract
This study explores development directions for elementary AI-digital social studies atlases to foster social studies competencies in an AI-based future. The discussion is grounded in an analysis of the transition from state-designated to authorized textbook systems. To this end, the formats and content structures of 10 authorized atlases under the 2015 Revised National Curriculum were comparatively analyzed. Results indicate that formats and designs have diversified to enhance learner convenience compared to previous state-designated versions. Regarding contents, while functions for understanding social phenomena remain concentrated on ‘collecting’ and ‘analyzing,’ workbooks have evolved from simple blank maps to include diverse and engaging activities. Consequently, the study suggests that elementaty AI-digital atlas should integrate diverse content and AI-based materials. This approach supports learner-centered, individualized learning to simultaneously foster social studies and AI utilization competencies.
