이 논문은 개인과 공동체 간의 관계를 다루고 있다. 이 논문에서 논자는 이것이 현실적으로 전개되는 과정을 분석한 후 이를 바탕으로 보다 나은 관계를 설정할 수 있는 가능성을 모색하고 있다. 논자는 이를 위해서 먼저 자유주의와 공동체주의의 장단점을 정리한다. 여기서의 쟁점은 개인의 정체성에 대한 상이한 철학적 해석이다. 논자는 이 해석을 보편화가능한 의사소통 공동체이론에 의거해서 평가한다. 다음으로 한중 국제결혼 가족의 구성원들이 지니고 있는 복합 정체성의 문제를 다룬다. 논자는 이 사례를 기반으로 개인과 공동체 사이에 형성된 중층적이고 복합적인 관계를 밝히고 개인 정체성의 복합성을 규명한다. 마지막으로는 재일코리안의 사례를 기반으로 개인과 공동체 간의 이러한 복합적, 다층적 구조를 국민국가 이후의 열린 공동체의 모습과 연관 지어 재구조화 한다.
Abstract
In this paper I have discussed a relationship between individuals and communities. I have analyzed the process where the relationship of them was developed actually. After that, I searched the possibility to get the better relationship between them. At first, I arranged the merit and demerit of liberalism and communitarianism. The issue between these two theories is different philosophic interpretation about an individual identity. I evaluated the interpretation based on the theory of communications community. I handled the problem of complex identities in second place which the members of the Korean-Chinese international marriage family keep in themselves. In the base of this instance I revealed the overlapped complex characteristics of the relationship between the individual and the community and examined the complexity of their personal identities. Lastly on the base of this complex and multilayered structure of the community, I conceptualized the features of open-universalizable communitarianism in a postnational state with a case of residing Korean in Japan.
