장춘익 선생님이 남긴 글은 크게 세 종류이다. 하나는 주로 『장춘익의 사회철학1: 비판과 체계』에 모여 있는, 헤겔, 마르크스, 하버마스, 루만 등의 이론과 사상에 대한 연구이다. 다른 하나는 주로 『장춘익의 사회철학2: 근대성과 계몽』에 실려 있는, 환경, 기술, 분배정의, 평등, 인문학 같은 현대사회의 문제들에 관한 주제적 연구이다. 나머지 하나는 자기존중, 명예, 관용, 종교, 경쟁, 돈, 자본주의, 행복, 양심, 사랑, 성(性), 고독 같이 일상생활에서 문득문득 부딪히게 되는 주제들에 대한 에세이이다. 이 논문은 『장춘익의 사회철학』 1권에 모여 있는 이론적 연구를 참고하면서, 특별히 아직 충분히 주목받지 못한 2권에 담겨 있는 논문들과 출간되지 않은 에세이들을 중심으로 장춘익의 사회철학의 기본틀과 그 특성들을 재구성해보려는 시도이다.
Abstract
Chun-Ik Jang’s writings are categorized into three. The first category covers studies on Hegel, Marx, Habermas, Luhmann and so on, which comprises Chun-Ik Jang’s Social Philosophy 1. Chun-Ik Jang’s Social Philosophy 2 contains studies on environment, technology, distributive justice, equality, or humanity, which comes into the second category. Essays on various themes such as self-respect, honor, tolerance, religion, competition, money, capitalism, happiness, conscience, love, gender, solitude set up the third category. This article aims at reconstruction of framework and characteristics of Chun-Ik Jang’s Social Philosophy based on not only his theoretical approach to social philosophy in Chun-Ik Jang’s Social Philosophy 1. but also other writings, especially those articles in Chun-Ik Jang’s Social Philosophy 2, and miscellaneous essays, which have been unpublished.
