영재아의 성격유형과 자아상태 분석

Gifted Students' Personality and Types of Ego-gram Based on Eric Berne’s Transactional Analysis

본 연구에서는 영재아를 대상으로 남녀 영재들의 성격유형과 자아상태의 차이 그리고 성격유형의 기질별, 기능별 특성을 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영재아들의 성별에 따른 성격유형의 차이를 분석한 결과, 판단방식 측면에서 남아와 여아 간 유의한 차가 나타났으며 자아상태에서는 영재 여아가 남아보다 자유스런 어린이자아가 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 영재아의 기질별 기능별 성격유형의 특성에서는 영재 집단이 한국판 표준화와 적지 않은 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 기질면에서는 한국판 표준화에 비해 NT형의 분포가 월등히 높은 반면 SJ형의 분포는 훨씬 낮은 것으로 나타났으며 기능면에서는 NT형의 분포가 한국판 표준화보다 월등히 높은 것으로 나타났다. 한편 심리적 기능유형에 따른 자아상태의 분석 결과에서 영재아의 자아상태유형은 어떤 판단을 내릴 때 기준으로 삼는 감정형(F)과 사고형(T)의 성격특성과 관련 깊다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate gifted students' gender differednce in ego state and personality, the characteristics of the functional types and the temperable types in personality traits and relations between gifted students' ego state and their personality traits by Ego-gram test based on Berne’s personality theory and MMTIC test based on Jung’s psychological theory. The subjects of this study were 230 of gifted students of K Gifted Center. The data analyzed by chi-square, t-test, one-way anova in accordance with each research question. The results of this study can be used as the material data for academic and career counseling and for guidance in students' human relationships. The results showed that there were gender differences in the ego state and personality traits in two dimensions. Second, gifted students showed significant difference from Korean standardization in the functional types and the temperable types of personality. These results showed that there were solid relations between the types of ego-gram and personality of gifted students.
