본 연구에서는 대학생을 중심으로 번(Berne)의 성격이론에 기초한 Ego-gram 검사와 융(Jung)의 심리이론에 기초한 MBTI 검사 도구를 활용하여 대학생의 성별 및 MBTI 선호 지표에 따른 자아상태를 연구하고자 하였다. 본 연구 결과, 대학생의 자아상태는 성격의 심리 기능 유형에 따라 일정한 양상을 나타내며, 성격적 특성이 자아상태의 에너지 분배와도 관계가 있다는 점을 알 수 있었으며 대학생의 성격경향성과 자아상태에 있어서 성별에 따른 차이도 찾아볼 수 있었다. 즉 자아상태에서는 여학생이 남학생 보다 자유로운 어린이 자아상태(FC)가 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해 각 성격측면별로 나타나는 대학생의 성격경향성이 이들을 둘러싼 학습과 환경의 요인들과 가미되어 자아 형성에 영향을 미친다는 점을 읽을 수 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate relations between university students' types of ego-gram and their personality by Ego-gram test based on Berne's personality theory and MBTI test based on Jung's psychological theory. The results of this study can be used as the material data for academic and career counseling and for guidance in university students' human relationships. The results showed that there were gender differences in types of ego-gram. And university students' types of ego-gram had statistically significant positive relations with their personality in two dimensions. These results showed that there were solid relations between the types of ego-gram and personality.
