Abstract

This study is aimed at discussing a teaching patterns that are closer to “the teaching,” in which teachers are actually experiencing the search for learning that occurs on a daily basis at the scene of a classroom. The learning of students, the teaching as a behaviour of affecting students' learning and the situation wherein learning is generated happens in a classroom. As a result of analyzing the teaching pattern based on the relationship structure of these three factors, it is possible to derive three teaching patterns: explicit teaching, latent teaching and suggestive teaching. Through this, it shows that it would be necessary to respect all of the three teaching patterns out of the existing narrow view, which is viewing and evaluating teachers` teaching. In addition, the three teaching patterns, which are suggested upon being classified, are expressed in a complex or simultaneous way as being mixed with each other rather than forming clear boundaries. Therefore, it is imperative for teachers to be aware of what teaching patterns they are adopting. Moreover, it also suggests that teachers are supposed to decide what teaching patterns are needed in situations that they face.
