Abstract

The purpose of this study is to present the direction and suggestion of a desirable Korean-style bilingual education policy, focusing on the bilingual education policy being implemented in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, in order to explore the direction of Korean bilingual education policy for the future society. It is a study that analyzed the case. The research results show that the core goal of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region's bilingual education policy is to help Mongolian students master Chinese and Mongolian, the national standard languages, at the same time, and to improve their bilingual level, ultimately nurturing bilingual talents.
