연구 목적: 본 연구는 지역축제 참여자와 비참여자에 대한 지역민의 인식 연구를 안동민속축제 사례로 살펴보고자 한다. 연구 방법: 안동 지역민을 대상으로 축제참여자와 비참여자에 대한 반 구조적 개인 인터뷰 방식을 채택하여 진행하였으며, 인터뷰 대상자를 선정할 때 주제를 이해하고 정보를 제공해 줄 유의표본추출방법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구 내용: 연구결과 첫째, 지역민들이 인식하는 축제 개최 영향력은 참여자와 비참여자 간의 차이가 크게 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 축제참여와 관련하여 제약 요인 중 차별성과 흥미성, 정보성에 비 참여자가 제약을 높게 인식하고 있었다. 셋째, 지역 자긍심과 애착도 차이를 살펴봄으로써 비 참여자보다 참여자가 지역에 대한 지역 자긍심과 애착도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 결론 및 제언: 지역민의 인식이 향후 안동민속축제의 발전과 활용을 위한 운영 방안에 의미 있는 자료로 활용될 것으로 판단하며, 후속 연구에서는 국내･해외 등 유사한 지역의 축제도 살펴봄으로써 지역축제가 도시 발전에 도움이 될 수 있는 실증적인 연구로 이어지길 기대한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the case of the Andong Folk Festival in the case of Andong Folk Festival. As a research method, a semi-structured personal interview method was adopted for festival participants and non-participants targeting Andong local residents, and a significant sampling method was used to understand the topic and provide information when interviewees were selected for analysis. As a result of the study, first, there was no significant difference between participants and non-participants in the influence of holding a festival recognized by local residents. Second, among the constraints on participation in the festival, non-participants were highly aware of the constraints on differentiation, interest, and information. Third, by examining the difference in regional pride and attachment, it was found that participants had higher regional pride and attachment to the region than non-participants. It is judged that the perception of local residents will be used as meaningful data for the management plan for the development and utilization of the Andong Folk Festival in the future. It is hoped that this will lead to empirical research that can.
