초록

연구 목적: 이 연구는 청소년의 자동적 사고와 메타인지가 불안에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 살펴보고, 자동적 사고와 불안 간의 관계에서 메타인지가 조절효과를 나타내는지 살펴보는 것이다. 연구 방법: 경기, 서울 소재지인 청소년을 대상으로 SPSS Statistics 21.0과 SPSS Process Macro를 활용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계, 신뢰도 검증, Pearson의 상관관계분석 및 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 내용: 첫째, 청소년의 불안을 예측하는 가장 영향력 있는 변인은 신체적 위협 인지인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 메타인지의 하위영역인 긍정적 메타걱정과 부정적 메타걱정은 신체적 위협 인지(또는 우울 인지)와 불안 간의 관계를 각각 조절하는 효과를 갖는 것으로 확인되었다. 결론 및 제언: 결과를 토대로 청소년의 불안을 감소시키기 위해 메타인지에 대한 효과적인 치료적 개입방법을 모색하고, 제안점을 논의하였다.

Abstract

This study examines the relative influence of adolescents’ automatic thoughts and metacognition on anxiety, and examines whether metacognition has a moderating effect on the relationship between automatic thoughts and anxiety. Frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, reliability verification, Pearson’s correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS Statistics 21.0 and SPSS Process Macro for adolescents located in Gyeonggi and Seoul. First, physical threat cognition was the most important variable to predict adolescents' anxiety. Second, positive meta-worry and negative meta-worry, subdomains of metacognition, were confirmed to have the effect of regulating the relationship between physical threat perception (or depression cognition) and anxiety, respectively. Based on the results, effective therapeutic intervention methods for metacognition to reduce adolescent anxiety were sought and suggestions were discussed.
