연구 목적: 이 연구는 언론에 보도된 뉴스 기사 빅데이터를 통해 ‘다문화가족’에 대한 사회적 이슈를 시대별로 파악하고, 향후 ‘다문화가족’을 위한 제도 및 프로그램 등에 대한 기본적인 방향성을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구 방법: 빅카인즈를 이용하여 2001년부터 2020년까지 ‘다문화가족’ 관련 뉴스 기사 총 34,807건을 수집 및 분석하였으며, 2000년대와 2010년대로 기간을 구분하여 ‘다문화가족’ 관련 뉴스 기사들에 대해 키워드 트렌드, 연관어, 관계도 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 내용: 첫째, 2000년대에 비해 2010년대에 ‘다문화가족’ 관련 뉴스 기사 수가 증가하였으며, 둘째, 연관어 분석에서 두 기간 모두 ‘다문화가족’을 위한 제도마련 및 지원프로그램 관련 연관어들이 나타났다. 셋째, 관계도 분석에서 ‘다문화가족’과 결혼이민자의 국적, ‘다문화가족’ 관련 주 정부기관 등과 관련된 키워드들이 연결된 것으로 나타났다. 결론 및 제언: 본 연구는 ‘다문화가족’에 대한 빅데이터를 통해 거시적인 차원에서 우리 사회에서 나타나고 있는 ‘다문화가족’에 대한 이슈를 파악하고, 정책방향을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study aims to identify social issues related to ‘Multicultural Families’ through news articles and big data reported in the media, and to present basic directions for future systems and programs for ‘Multicultural Families’. A total of 34,807 news articles related to ‘Multicultural Families’ were collected and analyzed from 2001 to 2020 using BIGKinds. Keyword Trends, Related Words, and Relationships Diagram were analyzed for news articles related to ‘Multicultural Families’. The research results are as follows. First, the number of news articles related to ‘Multicultural Families’ increased in the 2010s compared to the 2000s. Second, Related Words related to institutional arrangements and support programs for ‘Multicultural Families’ appeared in the analysis of Related Words in both periods. Third, in the analysis of the Relationship Diagram, keywords related to ‘Multicultural Families’, nationalities of marriage immigrants, and state government agencies related to ‘Multicultural Families’ were found to be connected.This study is meaningful in that it identifies the issues of ‘Multicultural Families’ in our society at a macro level through big data on ‘Multicultural Families’ and presents policy directions.
