부모양육행동이 다문화청소년의 국가정체성과 성취동기에 미치는 영향: 국가정체성의 매개효과 -잠재성장모델의 적용-

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the developmental trajectory, longitudinal structural relationships, and mediating effects of parental rearing behavior, national identity, and achievement motivation of multicultural adolescents in elementary 5th, middle school 2nd, and high school 2nd. To this end, 1,173 multicultural adolescents panel data (MAPS) were used to analyze the latent growth model (LGM), and phantom verification was applied to verify the mediating effect. This paper found that parental rearing behavior from multicultural families has a longitudinal effect on the national identity and achievement motivation of multicultural adolescents, and among them, national identity plays a mediating role and affects the achievement motivation of multicultural adolescents. As a result of the analysis of this study, first, the national identity and achievement motivation of multicultural adolescents decreased as parents engaged in negative rearing behavior. Over time, the motivation for achievement was positive and not affected by parents’ rearing behavior. Second, students with high national identity in the 5th grade had higher motivation for achievement and higher grades. Third, in the early days, men had a lot of influence on parents’ rearing behavior, but as the grade went up, women had more influence. In the early days, the perception of nationality and whether parents were foreigners influenced, but it was gradually insignificant. Fourth, it was found that national identity partially mediated between the two variables between the initial values and the rate of change of parental parenting behavior and achievement motivation. In the future, it is proposed to derive results including cultural factors of parents.
