연구 목적: 이 연구의 목적은 영성과 영적돌봄 척도 설문지를 활용하여 상담전공 대학원생들의 영성과 영적 돌봄에 대한 인식을 조사하는데 있다. 연구 방법: 상담학 혹은 상담심리학을 전공하고 있는 서울 및 수도권 대학원생들을 대상으로 다단계 집락표본추출을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 가설 검증을 위해 독립표본 t검증과 일원배치분산분석(One way Anova)을 실시하였다. 연구 내용: 대학원생들의 영성과 영적 돌봄에 대한 인식의 수준, 성별과 학위과정에 따른 인식 차이, 연령, 종교, 상담경력에 따른 인식 차이, 종교인과 비종교인의 인식 차이, 그리고 상담 유경험자와 무경험자에 따른 인식의 차이를 알아본다. 결론 및 제언: 상담을 전공하는 대학원생들의 전체적인 영성과 영적 돌봄의 평균 중위값은 4점으로 높은 결과를 보였다. 성별과 학위 변인은 참여자의 영성과 영적 돌봄의 인식에 영향을 주지 않았다. 반면, 연령, 종교, 그리고 상담경력은 영성적 인식에 영향을 주는 변인으로 확인되었다. 나이가 많을수록, 종교를 가질수록, 상담경력이 높을수록 영성 인식에 대한 평균 점수가 높았으며 집단 간 차이를 보였다. 결국 한국의 상담전공 대학원생들은 영성과 영적 돌봄에 대한 인식 수준이 높기에 상담자 교육을 위한 교과와 수련체계가 조속히 마련될 필요가 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception of spirituality and spiritual care among graduate students majoring in counseling using the Spirituality and Spiritual Care Rating Scale (SSCRS) questionnaire. Data were collected through multi-stage collection sampling for graduate students in Seoul and the metropolitan area majoring in counseling or counseling psychology. For hypothesis verification, independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA were conducted. The study examined graduate students’ level of perception of spirituality and spiritual care, differences in perception by gender and degree process, differences in perception by age, religion, and counseling experience, and differences in perception by religious and non-religious people. The average median value of overall spirituality and spiritual care of graduate students majoring in counseling was 4 points, showing somewhat high results. Gender and degree variables did not affect the participants’ perception of spirituality and spiritual care. On the other hand, age, religion, and counseling career were identified as variables affecting spiritual perception. The older the age, the more religious, and the higher the counseling experience, the higher the average score on spiritual perception and the difference between groups. In the end, graduate students majoring in counseling in Korea have a high level of awareness of spirituality and spiritual care, so it is necessary to establish a curriculum and training system for counselor education as soon as possible.
